Yeeyoung Ham

Ceramic Artist · Seoul

Bio

Yeeyoung Ham is a Korean ceramic artist and educator based in Seoul. Her practice begins with material inquiry and develops ideas through direct experimentation with clay and glaze. Drawing on contemporary landscapes in flux, where demolition and construction unfold simultaneously, she explores how material behaviour and time shape form and surface. By applying glaze in deliberate excess and firing repeatedly, she allows cracks and sagging to emerge as traces of material transformation. Alongside her studio practice, Ham pursues doctoral research and teaches ceramic materials at universities. Her works have been exhibited in Korea and across Europe.
